   -Introduction to Guidelines.
  -Explanation of technical terms used in the guidelines.
   -Use of soil and landform maps.
   -Assessment of crop utility and potential crop yields.
   -Soil and Fertilizer Management.
  -Fertilizer recommendations based on crops and cropping patterns.
 -Fertilizer recommendation method based on current cropping system based on land and soil characteristics and soil nutrient content. 
 -Other areas of use of upazila guidelines including selection of demonstration plots.
  -Identification of problem areas and marking of areas for implementation of development plans.

Soil and Fertilizer Management Issues:

   -Soil sample collection method. 
   -Introduction and specification of fertilizers used in Bangladesh. 
   -Detection of adulterated fertilizers at field level.
